Bhuvanagiri Assembly Election Results 2026
Bhuvanagiri Assembly constituency is in the Cuddalore district. The seat is known for its shifting political landscape, with victories shared between the AIADMK and DMK. In the 2021 Assembly elections, AIADMK’s A. Arunmozhithevan won the seat by securing 96,453 votes. He defeated DMK’s Durai K. Saravanan, who secured 88,194 votes. The margin of victory was 8,259 votes. In the 2016 Assembly elections, DMK’s Durai K. Saravanan won the seat with 60,554 votes, defeating AIADMK’s Selvi Ramajayam, who received 55,066 votes. The margin of victory stood at 5,488 votes. In the 2011 Assembly elections, AIADMK’s Selvi Ramajayam won the seat with 87,225 votes, defeating DMK’s T. Arivuselvan, who secured 73,108 votes. The margin of victory was 14,117 votes.
