Globally, the ZR-V measures around 4,568 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm, placing it in the premium midsize SUV category. The India-spec version is expected to retain similar dimensions.

Unlike the boxier styling seen on many midsize SUVs, the Honda ZR-V adopts a more rounded and urban crossover-inspired design. Internationally, the SUV features sleek LED lighting, a large grille, sporty alloy wheels and a coupe-like rear profile, giving it a more premium look.

Feature additions are expected to play a key role in the update. The facelifted City could finally get ventilated front seats, a powered driver’s seat, wireless charging, Type-C charging ports and a 360-degree camera system. Recent spy shots suggest the updated City could feature redesigned LED headlamps with connected DRLs, a revised front grille and sharper bumper detailing. The rear profile is also expected to get updated tail-lamp elements and refreshed bumper styling, while new alloy wheel designs could further differentiate the facelift from the outgoing version.

In India, the Honda ZR-V is expected to be offered with a single 2.0-litre NA petrol strong-hybrid powertrain. Internationally, this setup produces 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission.

Currently, the Honda City is offered with two powertrain options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121 bhp and 145 Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, and a segment-first strong-hybrid setup featuring a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle engine delivering 124 hp and 253 Nm. Both options are expected to continue unchanged.
