Sadiya is an assembly constituency in Assam's Tinsukia district, part of the Lakhimpur Lok Sabha area, located at the eastern tip near Arunachal Pradesh with a mix of tribal, tea, and border communities. Bolin Chetia of BJP is the current MLA, having won in 2021, 2016, and earlier as INC before switching parties. In 2021, he secured 64,855 votes (45per cent share), defeating INC's Lakhin Chandra Chetia (42,771 votes, 30per cent) by 22,084 votes.
