Vijayawada: Stating that artificial intelligence will only complement and can never substitute human intelligence, Andhra Pradesh governor justice S Abdul Nazeer called upon the graduating doctors to serve patients with compassion, act with integrity, and make a difference in the lives of others through their noble profession. Abdul Nazeer, who is also the chancellor of the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, participated in the 29th and 30th convocation ceremonies of the University held in Vijayawada on Tuesday.
Addressing the students at the convocation, Nazeer reminded them that healthcare is a profession where science meets humanity. Every patient, he said, entrusts healthcare providers with something precious, their health, dignity and hope. Such trust, he observed, is sacred and must be honoured through competence, compassion and ethical conduct.
