A speeding Mercedes, after colliding with a BMW, struck a motorcycle from behind on the Delhi-Agra NH, injuring two youths. Both car drivers fled the scene following the late Tuesday night incident. Eyewitnesses reported the cars were speeding and suggested the drivers might have been intoxicated.
A 30-year-old tavern employee in Faridabad was beaten to death by wedding guests after he refused to serve them alcohol. The incident occurred near a community centre when the guests, arriving from Gurugram, became enraged by the refusal. Police are examining CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to identify and arrest the accused.
