Samrat visits Buxar, reviews temple projects

Buxar: CM Samrat Choudhary on Saturday visited Buxar, where he offered prayers at prominent temples, reviewed ongoing development projects and inaugurated tourism infrastructure aimed at promoting the district’s cultural and spiritual heritage.Samrat first visited the historic Shri Vamaneshwar Nath Temple and offered prayers for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the state. He later reviewed the proposed Vamaneshwar Dham project after officials gave a presentation on the development plan.The CM also visited an exhibition organised inside the Buxar Central Jail campus showcasing handicrafts and products prepared by inmates. He planted a sapling on the temple premises during the visit.Later, Samrat visited the Baba Rameshwar Nath Temple at Ramrekha Ghat and inspected ongoing renovation and beautification works there. Officials briefed him on projects including installation of a grand statue of Lord Ram, drinking water facilities, pathways, changing rooms and arrangements for Ganga Aarti.Samrat announced that a grand statue of Lord Ram would soon be installed at Ramrekha Ghat.The chief minister also inaugurated the renovated light and sound complex and Maharishi Vishwamitra Mandapam at Ramrekha Ghat, developed at a cost of around Rs 6 crore. A special presentation showcasing Buxar’s historical and cultural heritage was also organised during the event.
