Cabinet nod to pvt univ in Mirzapur

Lucknow: The cabinet approved setting up of a private university Sardar Patel Apex University in Mirzapur district. With this, UP has total of 53 private universities.Higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyaya said, “The decision has been taken under the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019. The Act ensures proper arrangements for the establishment, regulation and functioning of private universities.”He added that the establishment of this university will create new opportunities for quality higher education in the state and provide youth with modern and employment-oriented education.
