16-yr-old girl dies by suicide

A 16-year-old girl, daughter of an IPS officer died by suicide at her home in Char Imli area on Tuesday afternoon. No suicide note was recovered so the reason behind her extreme step could not be ascertained yet.Habibganj SHO Sanjeev Chouksey said that the 16-year-old girl was a student of class 12. Her father is an IPS officer and posted in PHQ while mother also works in a job.SHO Chouksey said that the girl was at home on Tuesday afternoon while her parents had gone to their duties. There were domestic helps present at home. Around 3pm, when the officer returned home, a domestic help informed him that the girl was in her room. When she did not respond to repeated knocks, the officer managed to open the door and found her body. Acting on information, Habibganj police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
