Artemis II crew talks about ‘Project Hail Mary’

The Guardian reported that the Artemis II crew watched ‘Project Hail Mary’ before they were cleared for leaving for the mission. Before leaving, they had been set up in quarantine for some time, which is when they watched the film. The crew had nothing but good things to say about Gosling’s latest feature. During the interview, Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen stated, “We were all really lucky. We got to watch Hail Mary when we were in quarantine. That was a real treat that they sent us a link to view that at home with our families, getting us ready to go on our own space adventure. I would just say to Ryan, art imitates science and vice versa, it seems. He did a great job in that movie.”It was also reported that Gosling sent the astronauts his well-wishes before they set off on their mission.
