Trader dies by suicide inside car

Patna: A 26-year-old cement and iron rod businessman allegedly died by suicide after shooting himself inside his car in Dariyapur village under Naubatpur police station in Patna district on Monday.Police identified the deceased as Vikas Kumar, a resident of Pathani Nathpur under Beur police station area.According to police, Vikas had lunch with his uncle at his shop before allegedly shooting himself around 3 pm. Locals alerted police after noticing the incident.Police broke open the car window and recovered a pistol and two mobile phones from the vehicle.SDPO Deepak Kumar said, “Prima facie, the case appears to be a suicide.” He added that CCTV footage was being examined and forensic and ballistic experts had been called for investigation.
