New weekly train between Raxaul and Tirupati
Patna: The railways will run a new weekly train between Raxaul and Tirupati from Monday onwards. ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra said the train will leave Tirupati every Monday at 8.15am and reach Raxaul on Wednesday at 5pm. On its return journey, it will depart Raxaul every Thursday at 3.15am and arrive in Tirupati on Saturday at 9.30am. He added that the train will have a 24-coach composition, including three AC 2-tier, five AC 3-tier, 10 sleeper class, four general coaches, and two brake vans. In another function, Danapur DRM Vinod Kumar felicitated 22 railway employees who superannuated on May 31 with shawls and mementoes, sources said.
