Railways extends services of Danapur-Bengaluru special train
Patna: Railways has extended the operation of a special train running between Danapur and Bengaluru till July 18 to manage the heavy passenger rush during summer.According to ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra, the Danapur-Bengaluru special has been converted into a daily service from Monday to cater to the increasing passenger demand. “The train will depart from Danapur at 3pm and reach Bengaluru at 2.30pm on the third day of its journey,” he said, adding that on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru at 11.50pm and arrive at Danapur at 11.55pm on the third day.The train has a load composition of two AC two coaches, three AC three coaches, 10 sleeper class coaches, seven general coaches and brake vans.
