Storm alert for 4 districts in Vidarbha

Nagpur: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert warning of hailstorm, thunderstorm and lightning for Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Wardha and Yavatmal on Monday, while Nagpur and all the remaining districts of Vidarbha are under a yellow alert, with the warning extending through Tuesday. Nagpur, under yellow alert, faces thunderstorm and lightning risk as the region experiences volatile pre-monsoon weather. On Tuesday, the yellow alert will continue across Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, Yavatmal and Akola districts.
