Russell Wilson may be entering one of the most uncertain chapters of his football career, but away from the field, the veteran quarterback is celebrating a milestone that carries far more personal meaning. While speculation around retirement and television opportunities continues building, Wilson and wife
Ciara are watching their growing business empire make a major impact off the gridiron.
This week, the couple’s youth-focused brand 3BRAND officially crossed a significant charitable benchmark. The achievement quickly became a talking point among fans, especially as Wilson’s NFL
future remains unclear heading into another offseason.
Russell Wilson and Ciara celebrate major 3BRAND milestone
What started as a simple idea tied to Russell Wilson’s No. 3 jersey has transformed into one of the most recognizable athlete-led youth brands in sports fashion. Launched in 2021 through a partnership with Nike, 3BRAND initially focused on children’s apparel before expanding into a much broader lifestyle business.
Now, according to recent reports, the company has surpassed $3 million in contributions supporting youth empowerment through the Why Not You Foundation.
Wilson proudly acknowledged the milestone on Instagram while thanking supporters who helped the movement grow.

“Shout out to our @3brand community! You all are part of this with us! We are so so proud of how we’re all making an impact together! Let’s go!” Wilson captioned his Instagram story.
The business itself has expanded rapidly. Beyond hoodies, backpacks, and casual wear, 3BRAND recently entered the youth sports market with team uniforms covering football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.
Financially, the numbers have become massive as well. Reports indicate the company generated more than $100 million in sales during 2024, while also crossing $70 million during the first half of 2025 alone.
Still, Wilson insists the mission matters more than the revenue.
“A lot of the things that Ciara and I accomplished, we wrote them out as kids and had people who believed in us,” Wilson told Forbes. “But as a young kid, you ultimately have to believe in you. It’s about motivating the next generation.”
Russell Wilson retirement rumours grow amid broadcasting talks
At the same time, questions surrounding Wilson’s football future continue intensifying across NFL circles.
After spending last season with the New York Giants, the 37-year-old quarterback remains unsigned. That uncertainty has opened the door to growing reports connecting him to a possible television career.
According to reports from The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand, Wilson is reportedly in serious discussions about entering broadcasting, with CBS Sports emerging as a possible landing spot.
“Russ Wilson is in deep talks to go into television, with CBS’s NFL Today the favorite, as he contemplates the end of his playing career,” Marchand reported.
Wilson has already built familiarity with sports media through previous guest analyst appearances. If he ultimately steps away from football, many around the league believe his calm personality, leadership style, and communication skills could translate naturally into television.
For now, though, Wilson appears caught between two worlds: one final NFL opportunity or an entirely new chapter in front of the camera.
