24-yr-old man found hanging from tree in Auraiya village

Kanpur: A 24-year-old man was found hanging from a neem tree on Wednesday morning in Purwa Madhosingh Adda village under the Dibiyapur police station area of Auraiya district, police said.Family members, however, alleged that he was murdered and his body was hung on the tree.According to information, the deceased, worked as a labourer and lived on rent in Dibiyapur with his second wife.His father informed that his son remarried about one year ago to a girl from a village in the Aligarh area, and was allegedly under stress due to ongoing marital discord with second wife. He also informed that the deceased also had a four-year-old child from his first wife.Crime inspector, Sher Singh, Harchandpur outpost in-charge Jay Singh, reached the spot after receiving information, and sent the body for post-mortem.Sher Singh said, “No written complaint has been received from the family so far. Prima facie, it appears to be a case of suicide due to stress arising from family reasons."He added that further legal action will be taken after the autopsy report.
