ERODE: After four rounds of counting in Erode West, TVK candidate K K Ananth Moghan was leading with 16,547 votes.DMK’s S. Muthusamy, the state’s housing and urban development minister who also handles excise and prohibition, was in second place with 12,868 votes, trailing by 3,679 votes.Tamil Manila Congress candidate M Yuvaraja was third with 5,933 votes.In Namakkal district’s Rasipuram reserved constituency, the seventh round of counting has placed Lokesh Tamilselvan of TVK firmly in the lead with 26,291 votes. He is followed by Mathivendan of DMK, the sitting minister for Adi Dravidar Welfare, who has polled 20,045 votes, while Prem Kumar of BJP stands close behind with 19,807 votes.NTK candidate Sasikala has registered 2,217 votes, remaining far behind the main contenders.In the eighth round of counting in Krishnagiri assembly constituency, TVK candidate P Mukundhan took a lead with 31,786 votes. AIADMK candidate K Ashok Kumar stood second with 23,457 votes, while Congress candidate A Chellkumar was third with 16,140 votes.
