Dr Preetha Joshi
Dr. Preetha Joshi holds a postgraduate degree in Paediatrics from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, and has over seven years of international training and experience in Australia and Canada, including serving as Chief Fellow in Paediatric Critical Care at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.At Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, she leads the Neonatal and Paediatric ICUs and oversees a comprehensive transport service for critically ill newborns and children up to 18 years. She manages extremely premature and low-birth-weight infants, complex surgical and cardiac cases, and severe infections, employing advanced life-support therapies including ECMO. Dr. Joshi has been instrumental in caring for high-risk cases, including preterm quintuplets, and supervises the care of postoperative paediatric cardiac patients, with the units collectively treating thousands of critically ill children with excellent outcomes.She also runs outpatient follow-up clinics for preterm infants and ICU graduates, focusing on long-term neurodevelopmental assessment and ensuring continuity of care.
