Following the West Bengal Assembly election defeat, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has intensified her attack on the BJP, stating that the BJP-led central government will be removed from power in Delhi in the coming days. TMC general secretary Abhishek Banerjee also reiterated that the party would continue its fight against the BJP despite the defeat, taking a defiant stance in his address. Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress has approached the Calcutta High Court alleging post-poll violence across several districts, including incidents of arson, vandalism, and attacks on party workers. Both BJP and TMC have exchanged accusations over the violence, further escalating political tensions in West Bengal.
