TN SSLC Result 2026 out: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has declared the TN SSLC Result 2026. Students who appeared for the Class 10 public examinations can now check and download their provisional marksheets through the official result portals.
Along with the SSLC results, the board is also expected to release the TN HSC+1 Result 2026 for Class 11 students. Candidates can access their scorecards using their registration number or hall ticket number along with date of birth. Results are also available via DigiLocker and SMS services, in addition to the official websites.
More than 17 lakh students appeared for board examinationsAccording to reports, more than 17.6 lakh students registered for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 and Class 11 board examinations this year. Of them, nearly 8.71 lakh students appeared for the SSLC examinations, while around 8.07 lakh students took the HSE+1 examinations conducted by the DGE.
The TN SSLC examinations were conducted from March 11 to April 6, whereas the HSC+1 examinations took place from March 3 to March 27. Evaluation work has been completed, and students are now awaiting the declaration of results.
Last year, the Tamil Nadu board declared the SSLC results in the morning hours, and a similar schedule is expected this year. Reports indicate that the Class 10 results will be released at 9:30 am, while the HSC+1 results may follow later in the day.

Candidates have been advised to keep their hall ticket ready before checking the results online. Heavy traffic is usually recorded on the official websites immediately after the announcement.
The provisional online marksheet will mention details including the student’s name, registration number, date of birth, school name, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, photograph, parents’ names and qualifying status. Students have been advised to verify all details carefully after downloading the scorecard.
Pass percentage trend from previous yearsThe Tamil Nadu SSLC examination has recorded strong pass percentages over the past few years. In 2025, the overall pass percentage stood at 93.80 per cent, while in 2024 it was 91.55 per cent. The board recorded a pass percentage of 94.66 per cent in 2023 and 90.07 per cent in 2022.
In 2021, all students were declared passed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in a pass percentage of 100 per cent.
Original marksheets to be issued laterThe scorecards released online will be provisional in nature. Students will have to collect the original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools after the official distribution process begins.
Candidates who are unable to access the website due to heavy traffic can also obtain their TN SSLC Result 2026 through SMS by sending TNBOARD10 followed by date of birth and registration number to 9282232585. The result will be sent to the same mobile number after successful submission of the request.
