The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will close the objection window for the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) group first attempt answer key today, May 22, 2026. Candidates who want to challenge any answer in the provisional key can submit objections through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.To raise objections, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 1,000 for each question challenged. The CET Cell has stated that the fee is non-refundable and has been introduced to avoid random or unnecessary objections.The authority has also introduced an objection tracking system to make the process more transparent. Through this feature, candidates can check the real-time status of their submitted objections using their login dashboard.

Candidates can follow these steps to submit objections against the PCM answer key:

  2. Click on the candidate login portal on the homepage
  3. Enter registered email ID and password
  4. Select the question to challenge
  5. Upload supporting documents, if required
  6. Pay the objection fee and submit the form
  7. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference

MHT CET 2026 marking scheme

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to calculate their probable scores in the examination.According to the marking scheme:
  • Mathematics carries 2 marks for each correct answer
  • Physics and Chemistry carry 1 mark for each correct answer
  • No negative marking will be given for incorrect or unanswered questions
