Task force nabs two red sanders smugglers in Tirupati district

Tirupati: The red sanders anti-smuggling task force sleuths nabbed two interstate red sanders smugglers and confiscated 77 red sanders logs from their possession near Thayimambapuram village in Tirupati district on Wednesday.Acting on credible information, task force conducted a surprise check near Puttur-Nesanur route. When the task force sleuths moved forward after spotting a suspicious bike escorting a car, the inmates in the car abandoned the vehicle and tried to flee from the spot. Task force sleuths acted swiftly and nabbed two interstate smugglers from Tiruvannamalai region in Tamil Nadu. Some 77 red sanders logs concealed inside the car were confiscated.
