The resignation of TMC Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev has intensified speculation about BJP's role in the growing crisis within Mamata Banerjee's party. Shortly after quitting, Dev was seen with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, whom she described as a political guide. Reports suggest she may soon join the BJP.
