Bhagyavathi had traveled to Kuwait in Feb this year seeking employment as a domestic helper. However, it was later found that local recruitment agents neglected her case and did not secure a proper employment visa for her.
Tirupati: The state government swiftly intervened to rescue a Telugu woman stranded under distressing conditions in Kuwait, following directives from chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The issue came to light after the CM’s Office took immediate notice of media reports and a viral selfie video highlighting the plight of Bhagyavathi, a resident of Thondawada village in Chandragiri mandal of Tirupati district.
