Shreeda is Amravati’s probable Arts topper in HSC exam

Amravati: Govt Vidarbha Institute of Science and Humanities student Shreeda Shailesh Jog, is the likely district topper from Arts in HSC exams. Shreeda, who scored 93.83%, told TOI, "I had no interest in Science. But I loved Maths, which was one of my subjects for HSC," she said.Shreeda's other subjects were Logic, Psychology, Economics, Sanskrit and English. She scored full marks in Sanskrit and Logic. "She was only student in the Board to opt for English-Logic and English-Maths combination," said father Shailesh for whom her success was "surprising" to him and her mother Sharvari. Both are financial planners working in different fields.Younger of the two siblings, Shreeda wants to enter business domain. "I want to go for liberal Arts," she said, categorically saying no to UPSC, MPSC.Her elder sister Shreeya, who got 100%marks in Class 10 and was second merit in her Class 12, is currently doing BBA. A resident of Krishnarpan Colony here, Shreeda said she always wanted to study Arts but never took any pressure of studies.A good sportswoman that she is, she has played squash and golf at state-level too.
