State's centralised Class 11 admission process ran into fresh trouble on Friday after the official admission portal repeatedly crashed, leaving thousands of students and parents struggling to complete registrations. Following widespread complaints over technical glitches, the School Education department has once again extended the registration deadline till May 25.
Online admission process for First Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions began on May 21. However, within hours of its launch, students across Maharashtra reported difficulties accessing the website. The department earlier extended the deadline from May 23 after the portal malfunctioned on the opening day itself. Despite the extension, problems persisted on Friday, with students spending hours trying to fill forms and upload details. TNN
