Platform redevelopment work at CSMT, few trains to short-terminate at Dadar, Thane
During the extended period, foundation work and other essential redevelopment activities will be undertaken at the affected platforms.
Mumbai: Central Railway has extended the Traffic & Power Block at Platforms 16 and 17 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) for redevelopment work being executed by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), with the block now continuing till June 13. During the extended period, foundation work and other essential redevelopment activities will be undertaken at the affected platforms.As a result, some of the Mail/Express services will continue to be short-terminated till Dadar and some till Thane, an official said. It includes Amravati–CSMT Express, Ballarshah–CSMT Nandigram Express, Howrah–CSMT Express, Bhubaneswar–CSMT Konark Express, Madgaon–CSMT Tejas Express, which will terminate at Dadar, and Mangaluru–CSMT Express will terminate at Thane.
