tnnKanpur: Operator of a computer coaching institute in Nawabganj was found murdered after being robbed. His body was found inside a room of the institute on Monday morning.The deceased identified as 47-year-old Prakash Chandra Gupta, operated computer coaching institute near Azad Park in Azad Nagar under the Nawabganj police station area for the past 10 years. Prakash was unmarried. His family includes his elder brother Vikas and sister-in-law, while his parents have passed away.A teacher who arrived at the coaching institute in the morning found the door latched from outside. She went inside and found Prakash’s body lying on the floor. She informed nearby residents, who along with her informed the police.Brother Vikas stated that Prakash had told them that he would stay at the coaching institute overnight to watch IPL and will come home on Monday.Following information about the murder, DCP Central Atul Kumar Srivastava, ADCP Central Dr. Archana Singh and ACP Chitranshu Gautam arrived at the scene along with Nawabganj police and the forensic team and collected evidence.Prakash’s elder brother Vikas also arrived at the scene upon police information and stated that Prakash’s chain, bracelet and mobile phone were missing. He said that the office was also vandalised, with computers, monitors and tiles broken. Three teams have been formed to solve the case.
