Govt has a right to recall its notification:HC

The MP high court, while dismissing a petition by Dev Dattatreyaa temple priest Arun Kumar Shendye challenging the recall of notification exempting the temple trust from Public Trust Act, 1951 provisions, said the state government has a legal right to recall/withdraw its notification. Justice Deepak Khot dismissed the petition, holding the government was well within legal rights in recalling the notification issued on January 5, 2005 and later recalled on January 24, 2005. TNN
