Two Uttar Pradesh men held with stolen hosiery worth Rs 95,000 in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Two Uttar Pradesh natives landed in jail after police caught them red-handed with Rs 95,000 worth of stolen hosiery cloth stacked onto a single scooter.Acting on a tip-off, a surveillance team from the Danilimda police patrolled the area near Cozy Hotel on Friday night when they intercepted the suspects.Police said one of the accused is a 24-year-old resident of Vatva, originally from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, and a 20-year-old resident of Ajit Park, originally from Jaunpur district in Uttar Pradesh.Police said they seized six bundles of hosiery cloth pieces of different designs from them. The cops said that the accused were on a two-wheeler, and the two-wheeler did not have a numberplate.
