Modi-Meloni Talks Boost India-Italy Defence, IMEC And Technology Cooperation

India and Italy have strengthened their strategic partnership following high-level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome. MEA Secretary (West) Sibi George said both nations signed a Joint Declaration of Intent and an industrial roadmap to promote defence industrial cooperation, technology partnership, and co-production of defence equipment. The discussions focused on aerospace systems, naval platforms and next-generation defence technologies.
