India-UAE Sign Major LPG, Defence And Investment Pacts During PM Modi’s Abu Dhabi Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the United Arab Emirates amid the global energy crisis and signed major agreements on LPG supply, strategic petroleum reserves, defence cooperation and investments. During talks with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Modi stressed the need to keep the Strait of Hormuz free and open and backed dialogue to resolve Middle East tensions. The visit comes as India faces rising fuel prices and energy supply concerns linked to the ongoing regional conflict.
