Tehran Issues War Warning After Beirut Strike; IRGC's 'Operation True Promise 5' On Standby?

Tensions in the Middle East are rising again after fresh warnings emerged from Tehran following Israeli strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs. Iran's Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security has vowed what he described as a "firm and painful retaliation," while reports in Iranian state-linked media claim the IRGC's Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters has placed "Operation True Promise 5" on standby. The developments come after Israeli airstrikes targeted Beirut's Dahiyeh district, which Israel says was aimed at Hezbollah command centres following rocket fire towards northern Israel.
