Spain's Sanchez GOES NUCLEAR On Israeli PM Over ‘Illegal Capture’ Of Citizen | Global Sumud Flotilla

Pedro Sánchez is standing his ground. Amid the fallout from Israel’s interception of the "Global Sumud" flotilla, the Spanish PM has demanded the release of Spanish nationals and characterized the detention as a violation of international law. But the defiance doesn't stop there—Sánchez has also rejected a U.S. push for Spain to hike defense spending to 5% of GDP, arguing it would gut the welfare state. "We will always stand on the side of the citizens," Sánchez declared in Málaga.
