'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection Day 15

The Priyadarshan directorial raked in Rs 84.40 crore and Rs 43.75 crore in week 1 and week 2, respectively. Now, according to Sacnilk, on Day 15, the Akshay starrer earned a net collection of Rs 4.50 crore across 4,807 shows.

Akshay Kumar's horror comedy had minted over Rs 100 crore worldwide in just four days of its release and crossed the Rs 200 crore mark globally in two weeks. Now, on Day 15, the film raked in Rs 1.25 crore in the overseas market, pushing its total gross overseas collection to Rs 53.50 crore. With that, the worldwide gross collection of the film now stands at Rs 211.05 crore.

Box office competition

The Akshay and Priyadarshan collaboration is now facing competition from Ritiesh Deshmukh's ambitious project, 'Raja Shivaji', and the Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi starrer 'Ek Din'. Meanwhile, it is also facing competition from the Hollywood releases, like the Michael Jackson biopic titled 'Michael' and the fashion drama 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'.
