Hezbollah Drone Shatters Israeli Defences In South Lebanon, IDF Soldier Killed In Ambush

Fresh violence along the Israel-Lebanon border has fuelled fears of a wider regional conflict. The Israeli military said a reservist soldier was killed during clashes with Hezbollah along the Lebanon border. In a statement, the IDF identified the soldier as 47-year-old Warrant Officer Alexander Glovanyov, a driver in the Transport Center’s 6924th Battalion from Petah Tikva. According to Israeli officials, multiple drones were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel, with one striking near Israeli forces and killing the soldier. The attack comes amid escalating cross-border clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli troops.
