The High Court of Judicature in Madras is one of the three High Courts in India situated in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. This ace court is among India's three High Courts that were formed at the then Presidency Towns of Calcutta, Bombay as per the order by Her Majesty Queen Victoria.

The court hears major cases over Chennai and review decisions and change outcomes of the cases over the entire state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2017, the court has 74 judges and a chief justice. The Central Government in September 2016 suggested names of 15 new judges to the President for appointment in the court. Indira Banerjee is the the current Chief justice Of Madras High Court, who was sworn in on April 5, 2017.
