AIRO Group’s jaunt air mobility is developing a four-passenger eVTOL or air taxi as an urban air mobility solution. Jaunt and LTTS have signed a muti-million dollar contract where the latter will provide the engineering solutions.

A subsidiary of Indian engineering giant L&T will develop an eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) air taxi jointly with Texas-based aerospace company, jaunt air mobility.

In a major push to its urban air mobility plans of developing air taxis with an L&T arm and make them in India too, Indian-American Dr Chirinjeev Kathuria-founded aerospace and defence company AIRO Group has entered into an agreement and plan of merger with Kernel Group Holdings to list on NASDAQ.

US aerospace company jaunt air mobility has decided to set up a final assembly unit for eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) air taxis in India before the end of this decade.

Indian pure-play engineering R&D (ERD) players have outshone their IT peers in digital engineering and embedded capabilities due to strong demand tailwinds.
