Smriti Irani is an Indian politician and former actor who served as a senior minister in the Union Cabinet between 2014 and 2024. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), she gained national prominence as the lead in the television series Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi before transitioning to full-time politics.
