Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh govt on Friday released the APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) June 2026 notification, paving the way for aspiring teachers and in-service educators to apply for the eligibility examination. The notification, information bulletin, syllabus, examination schedule, instructions and other details have been made available online.
According to the schedule, candidates can submit applications and pay examination fees from June 5 to July 5. An online mock test facility will be made available from July 15, while hall tickets can be downloaded from July 25 onwards.
The computer-based examination will be conducted from Aug 5 to Aug 21 in two sessions every day. The preliminary key will be released on Aug 24, and objections can be submitted between Aug 25 and Aug 31. The final key will be published on Sep 8, while results are scheduled to be declared on Sep 15.
School education minister Nara Lokesh said the APTET-2026 notification has been issued to strengthen school education and ensure quality teaching standards across the State. He encouraged aspiring teachers to make use of the opportunity and prepare well for the examination.
The minister also announced that, as part of the State Government’s Job Calendar, the DSC-2026 notification for recruitment of teachers in government schools will be issued in Oct 2026. Candidates can access detailed information, including the information bulletin and examination guidelines, through the official APTET portal.
