DMK govt betrayed Kumbakonam people by failing to create a separate district with the temple town as headquarters, PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss told reporters in Kumbakonam on Tuesday. He said there is a strong anti-DMK wave in the state.
Anbumani said chief minister M K Stalin had promised before the 2021 elections to carve out a new district with Kumbakonam as headquarters. "It did not create a single new district, but the previous

"DMK thinks it can fool the public with fake Rs 8,000 coupons," he said while responding to allegations of coupon distribution in Kumbakonam.
Anbumani said the NDA alliance would secure more than 200 seats in the upcoming elections and AIADMK's Palaniswami would become the next chief minister. "A powerful anti-DMK wave is sweeping Tamil Nadu," he said.
