Uttar Pradesh have delivered a remarkable academic performance in the UP Board 2026 examinations, reflecting strong discipline and the growing impact of educational initiatives within correctional institutions.
In the Class X examination, 67 out of 68 candidates successfully passed, registering an exceptional pass percentage of 98.53%.
Several districts achieved a perfect 100% result, including Agra (8/8), Firozabad (1/1), Mainpuri (2/2), Mathura (2/2), Aligarh (2/2),
Ghaziabad (5/5), Meerut (1/1), Muzaffarnagar (1/1), Saharanpur (3/3), Rampur (3/3), Pilibhit (2/2), Lakhimpur Kheri (2/2), Lucknow (7/7), Unnao (2/2), Farrukhabad (5/5), Etawah (1/1), Hamirpur (1/1), Ayodhya (1/1) and Bhadohi (1/1), among others.
In Class XII examination, 114 out of 135 inmates cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 84.44%. Mathura (1/1), Aligarh (2/2), Meerut (5/5), Muzaffarnagar (1/1), Saharanpur (2/2), Rampur (1/1), Unnao (3/3), Farrukhabad (5/5), Etawah (1/1) and Jalaun showed 100% results. In Ghaziabad 17 out of 18 candidates passed (94.44%), while in Lucknow 6 out of 7 candidates passed ith (85.71%).
While a few districts such as Hardoi and Prayagraj showed weaker or limited outcomes in Class XII result — none in Hardoi and just one in Prayagraj — and Varanasi recorded moderate performance (83.33% in High School and 75% in Intermediate), the overall trend remains highly positive.
