Trichy: AIPTMMK general secretary V K Sasikala called for the ouster of DMK to prevent anarchic rule in the state. Campaigning in Trichy on Thursday, Sasikala demanded that the Union govt should not reduce Tamil Nadu's Lok Sabha constituencies just because the state has strictly followed population control measures for years.
In Srirangam, Sasikala highlighted the tragic suicide of a 25-year-old woman from Manachanallur. She alleged that the woman was abused and assaulted by DMK workers distributing gift items, leading to her death.

Sasikala urged voters not to believe the DMK's promises. "If we do not sideline the DMK, they will descend into even greater anarchy," she said.
In Trichy East, Sasikala criticised the Union govt's the Delimitation Bill, noting that Tamil Nadu which has strictly followed population control policies stands to lose several parliamentary constituencies and urged the Centre not to reduce TN seats.
Sasikala opposed financial aid schemes announced in both DMK and AIADMK manifestos, warning that the debt-ridden govt lacks resources even to pay employees, and such schemes would only increase the burden.
