Woman hacked to death in Garhwa, brother-in-law arrested
---Garhwa: A 40-year-old woman was allegedly hacked to death by her brother-in-law in the district after a row over attending a marriage ceremony. The deceased was identified as Urmila Mushar. The incident took place in Majhgawan village under Hariharpur out-post (OP) under Kandi police station limits of Garhwa district on Friday. Urmila’s 16-year-old son Arjun was critically injured in the incident.The body was sent to Garhwa Sadar Hospital for postmortem examination. The accused Uday Mushar, who fled the spot after the murder, was arrested hours later. Nasim Ansari, the in-charge of Hariharpur OP, said, “A dispute led to the incident. The accused was arrested promptly, and will be sent up to judicial custody on Saturday.”
