Online registration for PG courses starts at CUSB
Exciting news for aspiring postgraduate students! The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has kicked off online registrations for 29 diverse postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026-27. If you’ve taken the CUET-PG-2026 exam and chose CUSB as your desired institution, don’t miss the chance to register by June 4.
Patna: Accredited with A++ grade by NAAC, the Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on Tuesday started online registration for admission to its 29 postgraduate (PG) programmes in 2026-27 session. The last date of online registration on the university’s website is June 4.Giving details of the registration process, CUSB’s public relations officer Md Mudassir Alam said all the candidates who appeared in CUET-PG-2026 examination and opted for CUSB as one of options may register themselves for counselling and admission without any consideration of the cut-off marks.The courses to which the applicants would be admitted include data science and applied statistics, artificial intelligence (AI), biotechnology, bioinformatics, environmental science, life science, geology, geography, mathematics, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, physics, chemistry, statistics, commerce, journalism and mass communications, psychology, sociology, social work, economics, political science and international relations, history, English, Hindi, education, law, physical education and library and information science.CUSB’s deputy registrar Kumar Kaushal said the candidates seeking admission in these programmes are required to register themselves on the CUSB portal. Interested candidates can participate in the counselling process upto June 4 by paying a registration fee (non-refundable) of Rs 500 for each programme (Rs 200 for SC/ST/PWD category candidates). He said the programme-wise merit list for admission will be prepared only from among those candidates who register themselves for admission within the prescribed time.
Only the candidates registered on the CUSB portal will be provided counselling and admission opportunity in the university, he said.The first cut-off list will be declared on June 11. Selected candidates can submit the admission fee between June 11 and 16. If the seats remain vacant, the second cut-off list will be released on June 23, and subsequently the third cut-off list will be announced on July 3. The final list of admitted students for the academic year 2026-27 will be published on the university’s website on July 9. The classes of newly admitted PG students will commence from July 16, he added.
