NASHIK: An employee lost her life after her head got stuck in a small freight elevator at a hospital in Nashik on Monday, police said.Jyoti Shivaji Ahire (50), a contractual employee at Dr Vasantrao Pawar Medical Hospital, College and Research Centre, was peering inside the dumbwaiter lift around 10:30 am when the incident happened.Police said she had put her head inside to check whether the lift was moving when it suddenly came down, causing severe head injuries. She succumbed to injuries," police said.A case has been registered at Adgaon police station, and further investigations are underway.(With agency inputs)
