Man killed for opposing affair with brother’s wife

Mumbai: A 35-year-old man was murdered in Dahisar after objecting to the accused's alleged affair with his brother's wife. The incident happened late on Monday.According to police, the complainant, Mahesh Sugire, 35, a resident of Mira Road, alleged that his younger brother, Sagar Sugire, 29, had confronted the accused over his alleged relationship with Mahesh's wife and asked him to end the affair.Following the confrontation, the accused allegedly assaulted Sagar by punching and kicking him before attacking him with a rock. Police said the accused then allegedly pushed Sagar down a flight of stairs. Even after Sagar lost consciousness, the accused allegedly continued the assault using the stone with the intention to kill him.Sagar was rushed to Nair Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Based on Mahesh Sugire's complaint, the Dahisar police registered an FIR for murder against the accused. Further investigation is underway.
