Man held for threatening CM Yogi

Prayagraj: A man was arrested in Prayagraj on Friday for allegedly issuing death and bomb threat against CM Yogi Adityanath using another person’s identity to frame him over an old rivalry, police said.The accused, Nitesh Katiyar of Shahjahanpur, is a sanitation worker.Ganga Nagar DCP Kuldeep Gunawat said Katiyar allegedly misused his ex-fiance’s brother’s identity and posted objectionable remarks and threats against the CM on WhatsApp.During questioning, Katiyar told police that he had been engaged to the sister of the person whose identity he alleged used. However, after his engagement was called off, Katiyar decided to frame the woman’s brother out of spite, police said.
