Man falls to death in NT complex

Kolkata: A 55-year-old man died after falling from the terrace of a 15-storey tower at Sunrise Point complex near New Town Akanksha More on Tuesday around 6.30 pm. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Hirawat, a resident of 10th floor at Saffron 4 tower. Sources said Hirawat lived there for 14 years with his wife, brother and other kin. Residents said Hirawat had been suffering from multiple health issues since Covid and had also been battling depression. tnn
