Criminal’s property worth Rs 2cr razed in Jaipur

Jaipur: In a major crackdown against organised criminals and encroachers, Jaipur South Police and Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Wednesday jointly demolished illegal property worth Rs 2 crore allegedly linked to a history-sheeter in Muhana area.According to the police, the accused, identified as history-sheeter Shankar, allegedly occupied the land illegally for the last 12 to 13 years. The demolished property was spread across around 200 square yards on govt land near Diggi Road in Jaipur.Deputy commissioner of police (South) Rajrishi Raj said, “The encroachment included temporary and permanent structures built on prime govt land near Muhana Mod.
