Hyderabad: A review meeting of the Hyderabad parliamentary constituency at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday descended into chaos after Congress leaders clashed and allegedly exchanged blows in front of senior party leaders.
The embarrassment unfolded when minority community leaders jostled over seating beside minorities welfare minister Mohd Azharuddin during the meeting.

Feroz Khan was reportedly pushed down to the floor by party leader Osman Al Hajri. All this reportedly happened right in front of ministers Azharuddin and Ponnam Prabhakar and govt advisor V Hanumanth Rao, who was also pushed in the melee.
Soon after the meeting started, an argument broke out over protocol issues, resulting in a heated argument between Feroz Khan and Osman Al Hajri. Both leaders reportedly lost their cool and grabbed each other’s shirts in front of senior leaders. The situation grew tense after Osman allegedly slapped Feroz, causing the latter to fall to the ground.
Hanumantha Rao and other leaders quickly intervened to restore normalcy, and made Feroz and Osman to reconcile and shake hands. The two leaders later apologised to each other. However, Azharuddin left the venue shortly after the incident, with Ponnam declaring the meeting as concluded.
